Two days on the ground, or a weekend with flights?
This outline assumes two days when you can explore Tirana. If you arrive late on the first day, keep the central walk and choose one museum the following morning. Do not squeeze the missed programme into the remaining afternoon.
A central hotel makes a short stay easier. Check the walking route to your main stops and ask about luggage storage if check-out is well before your flight. Collect a rental car for an onward road trip when leaving, unless you have a specific use for it in the city.
Day 1: the centre and one substantial visit
Start around Skanderbeg Square to get your bearings. Leave time for coffee and the surrounding buildings. Choose the museum afterwards, rather than using the walk as filler between bookings.
Bunk’Art 2 is on Rruga Abdi Toptani and suits this central day. If Bunk’Art 1 interests you more, put that outing on day 2 instead. Check opening information with the museum before fixing other arrangements around it. After an intensive exhibition, a lunch break makes more sense than immediately starting another history visit.

Day 2: an outing or more time in the city
Use the second day for Bunk’Art 1 if the subject appeals, allowing for the return journey. The alternative is to remain in the city: take a longer walk, spend time over a meal and return to a neighbourhood that caught your interest yesterday.
You do not need a paid activity on both days. Make one concrete choice beforehand and leave the remainder to your energy and the weather. That also gives you room when a museum visit lasts longer than expected.
